UV PRSA Luncheon Feb 19: How to increase your social media engagement

Luckily, public relations and business communication professionals are finally past the discussion of whether or not social media tools are an effective way to communicate. So let’s talk specifics.

During the February 19th luncheon, Pete Codella, APR, will share specific strategies for utilizing social media and offer up a handful of measurement tools to help communicators and those in leadership roles make decisions based on the success of social media engagement.

The discussion will include examples and best practices as well as opportunities to address specific challenges faced by attendees and their organizations. You’ll learn how to:
1.    Develop a social media and online strategy that supports organizational goals and objectives
2.    Implement brand journalism and social visual communication engagement strategies
3.    Maximize and measure your digital presence
4.    Use tools like RSS feeds, Social Tally and Sprout Social to track and communicate the effectiveness of your social media activities
